Nawaz Sharif, Fazalur Rehman discuss strategy to block mini-budget in parliament

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif made a telephonic contact with PDM chairman Maulana Fazalur Reman to discuss the strategy to block the approval of the mini-budget in the parliament.

During the conversation, they agreed upon giving a tough time to the government in the parliament. Nawaz Sharif thanked Maulana Fazalur Rehman for not resigning fom the parliament and comgratulated him on winning the local bodies elections.

According to sources, both leaders agreed that no steps against public desires and democracy would be accepted. They also agreed to continue to pressurize the government to ensure the fair elections next year.

They also discussed preprations for the Mehangai March on March 23.

The sources said that PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif had been assigned the task to convince the government alies not to support the mini-budget.
