Nawaz Sharif has not yet received a level playing field: Maryam Nawaz

LONDON (92 News) - PML-N vice-president Maryam Nawaz has said that Nawaz Sharif has not received a level playing field yet.

Addressing a press conference in London on Tuesday, she said that Imran Khan's level will be exposed after clearance of Nawaz Sharif.

"Imran Khan gave the title of Mir Jaffar for not accepting the extension. He started the long march on his failure to get the election date. Imran Khan's only target to create a hurdle in the appointment of the army chief. This plan will also fail," he maintained.

Maryam Nawaz said that the army chief will be appointed as per constitution. "Imran Khan sold out the gifts at high rates after purchasing it at a low cost," she added.

She demanded that the court should take the notice of Imran Khan's lie about an end to his disqualification. "Imran Khan's criticism of establishment is not for principle, but to seek favour. The army's statement not to interfere in politics is the win for the narrative of Nawaz Sharif," she added.

The PML-N vice-president claimed that Nawaz Sharif will return to Pakistan soon. "The time of Imran Khan is over. Talks will not be held with him at any cost," he added.

She said that Imran Khan should be ashamed of blaming the chief election commissioner. She also expressed grief over the martyrdom of journalist Sadaf Naeem. She also demanded investigations into the murder of journalist Arshad Sharif.
