LAHORE (92 News) – Former premier Nawaz Sharif on Thursday instructed her younger brother and Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif to summon all parties conference (APC) at earliest. This was stated by Nawaz Sharif during the meeting with Shehbaz Sharif in Kot Lakhpat jail. During the meeting, the PML-N president informed the former prime minister about the APC and meeting with Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto. On the occasion, Nawaz Sharif instructed his younger brother to call APC of opposition parties at earliest in order to finalize the ‘Azadi March’ announced by JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman. He also maintained that the PPP should participate in the ‘Azadi March’. The sources also quoted that the former premier urged Shehbaz to lead the Azadi March to which he apologized saying his health condition does not allow this, adding that Ahsan Iqbal and other party leaders must be considered for this task. On the other hand, the JUI-F chief has announced to hold anti-government protest as ‘Azadi March’ towards Islamabad on October 27. He also said that the JUI-F will stage sit-in at D-Chowk in Islamabad on October 27, adding that the present government was formed as a result of rigging. The JUI-F chief said that all opposition parties had agreed on the above and had called for fresh elections. “We will gather at D-Chowk,” he said, adding, “We are not ones to disperse easily.” “The country is under economic crisis due to the government’s incompetency,” Maulana Fazlur Rehman said. He maintained that the party will begin its ‘Azadi march’ on October 27 towards Islamabad. “All caravans will reach Islamabad across the country. We will express solidarity with the Indian Occupied Kashmir (IoK).” The decision comes two days after the leadership of top opposition parties, PML-N and PPP opposed any “solo flight” for the ouster of the government and decided to hold an all parties conference to develop consensus among all the opposition parties.
