Nawaz Sharif likely to return to homeland in September or October: sources

- PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif is likely to return to the homeland in September or October.

Sources in the PML-N revealed that the party leadership has directed the leadership of four provinces to make preparations in this regard.

The sources said that Nawaz Sharif will land in another city instead of reaching Lahore. "Karachi, Quetta, Peshawar and Islamabad are being considered for the return of the former prime minister. However, a majority of leaders are in favour of welcoming Nawaz Sharif in Karachi or Islamabad," they added.

Suggestions will also be sought from the party's legal experts to deal with the legal matters regarding return of Nawaz Sharif. "Petitions are likely to be filed for resolving the court matters before the return of Nawaz Sharif. After resolving the court matters, Nawaz Sharif will be taken to his residence in Lahore or Islamabad in a big rally from the airport," they opined.

Sources said that Nawaz Sharif will decide about the final date about his return in consultation with other leaders and he would announce the final date during a press conference in London.

Several notable figures will visit London to bring Nawaz Sharif back.
