Nawaz Sharif says a playboy played a nefarious game with country
LAHORE (92 News) - PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif said that a playboy had played a nefarious game with the country, adding that one who termed others thieves himself turned the biggest thief.
Addressing a meeting of the PML-N Parliamentary Board on Friday, he said that the PTI former chairman used to mention 'Riyast-e-Madina' to downgrade others.
"The people who served the country were punished. Some inflictions cannot be compensated, but the people know everything," he added. "We faced a lot of difficulties, but did not leave patience."
Nawaz Sharif said that they are striving to work for the progress of the country. "We want to put the country on the way to progress. A playboy who did not know the economy was brought in the country," he added.
He said that the £190 million case is the biggest scam in the country. An approval was received from the cabinet by waving a sealed envelope. The nation should be informed as who robbed the country. How will the inflation be controlled if an amount of Rs60 billion is devoured?" he questioned.
The PML-N Quaid said that they were not here to get the government, but for the betterment of the country.
