Nawaz Sharif to visit clinic in London today for further tests

LONDON (92 News) – Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif will visit doctor in London clinic associated with Harley Clinic on Monday (today) for further tests. According to sources, the former prime minister, who is currently on bail for medical treatment in London for the seventh day, had earlier visited two hospitals in the city for medical tests. He will meet cardiac physician for discussion on his health condition. The sources also said that Nawaz Sharif will undergo positron emission tomography (PET) test next week to check for diseases in his body. A Swiss doctor had also checked Sharif at his residence recently. Earlier, Nawaz’s personal physician Dr Adnan Khan tweeted that Dr David Lawrence, cardiothoracic Surgeon at University College Hospital examined the former premier, who had been “given a roadmap for cardiac investigations & subsequent treatment”. Dr Lawrence performed the CABG (heart bypass surgery) on Nawaz in May 2016 and had clinically looked after ever since, the doctor said. “Dr Lawrence in sync with haematologists at Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospital, will manage” Nawaz, he added.
