ISLAMABAD (92 News) – As Pakistan and India on Friday made an attempt to revive bilateral relations in a step towards ending recent bitter hostilities, opposition parties back in Pakistan were not impressed.
Talking t0 92 News, Pakistan People’s Party leader Qamar Zaman Kaira said that Pakistan has always demanded evidence regarding Indian reservations and this is Indian’s responsibility to provide evidence.
He said that prime minister Nawaz Sharif must have discussed all issues in the meeting.
Meanwhile, former foren minister and PTI leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that it was good opportunity for Pakistani leader to raise issues like National Security, Kahmir issue and RAW’s involvement in Pakistan’s internal affairs.
Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front chairman Yaseen Malik said that only dialogue can resolves conflicts and issues, but for the success of dialogue it is equally important to have seriousness and focus on conflict resolution.
He said that joint declaration issued after bilateral meeting of Indian and Pakistani prime ministers today has disappointed Kashmiris.
Political leaders termed the meeting of Modi and Nawaz Sharif satisfying for the peace in the region.
