LAHORE (92 News) – The condition of former premier Nawaz Sharif is very serious and it is mandatory for him to go abroad for treatment. This was stated by Dr Adnan, personal physician of Nawaz Sharif, said that it was not being diagnosed why platelets are reducing. “Nawaz Sharif has undergone an open heart surgery. Platelets could not increase due to steroids administered to him,” he said. Dr Adnan said that 80 percent arteries supplying blood to the brain of Nawaz Sharif are clogged. “Nawaz Sharif is also suffering from the problems of kidney, Urea and creatinine,” he said. He said that Nawaz Sharif faced the problem of platelets after being shifted to Sharif Medical City. “He is also suffering from kidney disorder. The Government Medical Board also treated Nawaz Sharif and concluded that he cannot be treated in Pakistan,” he maintained. Earlier, Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb had said that former premier Nawaz Sharif’s health is deteriorating with every passing day. In her statement, the PML-N spokesperson said that the doctors have advised immediate shifting of Nawaz Sharif, as it is beneficial for his treatment. “Former prime minister’s health is deteriorating with every passing day,” she added. The PML-N spokesperson had also said that the doctors will use steroids and other medicines to ensure that the former prime minister’s platelets are up to the levels that are required for traveling. Aurangzeb had said that the biggest challenge that the doctors, who will treat Nawaz abroad, will be in identifying the diagnosis and determining the reason behind the low platelet counts of the PML-N leader.
