LAHORE (92 News) – The London departure of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif for treatment delayed until Monday. According to the details garnered, the health of the former premier is critical as his name was not removed from the exit control list (ECL). Today, Nawaz Sharif had to leave for London but the ticket was cancelled after the legal complications. Meanwhile, the National Accountability Bureau has sent the reply over removal of Nawaz Sharif from ECL to the Interior Ministry. The sources also said that Nawaz Sharif will leave for London via Qatar Airways’s commercial flight QR-629 on Monday morning. Nawaz Sharif’s name was likely to be removed from the ECL upon a prior request citing health concerns. The sources confirmed that ailing Nawaz Sharif accompanied by his brother Shehbaz Sahrif and family physician Dr Adnan will leave for London on 11th of this month for treatment. His flight will take off from Lahore at 9:05am Monday. According to his return ticket, Nawaz Sharif will arrive homeland on November 27, the sources added. On November 8, Nawaz Sharif’s name was likely to be removed from the Exit Control List (ECL) upon a prior request citing health concerns. It was also reported that a final decision on the matter would be undertaken by the ministry of interior within the next 48 to 72 hours. The Sharif family had tendered a request to the interior ministry requesting the former premiers name to be removed from the ECL, which bars those on the list from leaving the country. Earlier, the federal government decided to remove name of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif from Exit Control List (ECL), sources said. According to the sources, the name of the former premier may be removed from ECL in the next 48 hours, sources said. It added that the officials at the Interior Ministry are waiting for the formal orders to remove the PML-N quid’s name from the ECL The sources also claimed that Nawaz Sharif will be allowed to travel abroad within the next 48 hours. Officials also said that Nawaz Sharif’s name will not be removed till the orders come from the government. It was also reported that the former prime minister will travel to London next week. It is expected that the former premier will be accompanied by his brother Shehbaz Sharif.
