Nawaz Sharif’s health condition might be life-threatening: Ahsan Iqbal

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal has said that the health condition of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif might be life-threatening. Talking to the media on Wednesday, he said that the government had adopted criminal negligence towards the provision of heath facilities to Nawaz Sharif. “Prime Minister Imran Khan is responsible for a delay in the healthcare of Nawaz Sharif. Everything is happening on his orders,” he said. The PML-N leader said that Imran Khan had stated in the US that he would block food of Nawaz Sharif after reaching Nawaz Sharif. He said that the detained Maryam Nawaz was not allowed to meet his he railing father. “Nawaz Sharif wanted to stabilize Pakistan. He is hero of millions of Pakistan,” he said. Ahsan Iqbal said that former premier Shahid Khaqan Abbasi had been detained in a death cell. “All workers are praying for the health of Nawaz Sharif,” he said. On October 23, PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal had said that Prime Minister Imran Khan would be held responsible if anything happened to former prime minister Nawaz Sharif. He said that the present government had destroyed the country. “The government has taken the loan in a year equal to the loan taken by the PML-N in five years,” he said. He said that the government’s entire focus is on revengeful activities. “Nawaz Sharif’s health deteriorated suddenly and his personal physician had informed about the threats to his health at 7pm. His treatment should have been started immediately, but the administration continued to ignore the matter and threw the report into a dustbin,” he said. Ahsan Iqbal said that the administration shifted Nawaz Sharif to hospital when workers reached the NAB office and staged a protest. The PML-N leader said that the government had not only expressed indifferent, but the comments of Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Firdous Ashiq are a shameful act. “The PTI had made fun of the disease of Kulsoom Nawaz. It launched a propaganda campaign on the social media when a murder attempt was made on me. The PTI is in habit of doing politics on the disease of its opponents,” he said.
