LONDON (92 News) – Shamim Bibi, mother of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, left for London on Saturday. She left Lahore by PIA flight. Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif are already in London for treatment. On January 30, the Punjab government had declared the medical reports of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif as unsatisfactory. The Punjab government has written letter to Nawaz Sharif in light of objections of a medical panel that termed his fresh medical reports unsatisfactory. Sources said that Nawaz Sharif’s have been asked to provide within three days complete details of the ailments he is suffering from. The Punjab government said cardiac consultant Surgeon David Lawrence’s reports pointed out only cardiac issues, instructing the former premier to give details about his current platelet count, PAT scan and renal problem. The Punjab government warned that the authorities concerned would decide Sharif’s plea for extending stay in London on the basis of the available record given that the required information is not provided. Earlier, Adviser to Prime Minister on Accountability Shahzad Akbar said that the four-week bail of former premier, who is in London for medical treatment, has expired. Talking to the media on Monday, he said that only a certificate was sent to the Punjab government which does not carry a report. He said that they had sought more explanation, but no reply was given to them. Shahzad Akbar said that the IHC had granted Nawaz Sharif the bail. “There is nothing in the reports sent by Nawaz Sharif.” He said that the government would adopt the strategy after Nawaz would give the reply to the medical board. “The accountability process is not slow. There is an improvement in the recovery of the NAB,” he said. The adviser said that the NAB laws are being improved and efforts are being made to get them approved from the parliament. “The NAB ordinance has not been withdrawn, but it is present. The NAB Ordinance is for four months and later it would be extended,” he said. On the other hand, Dr Adnan tweeted that Nawaz Sharif would be hospitalized in a few days. “Cardiac catheterization will be performed to treat the complex coronary arteries blockages,” he said.
