Nawaz Sharif’s security guards again scuffle with journalists outside court

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s security guards again pushed and scuffled with journalists outside accountability court on Tuesday. Journalists strongly protested against the incident occurred yesterday. However, Nawaz Sharif entered the court without talking to journalists. On the other hand, the Secretariat police have registered a case against three guards of Nawaz Sharif for torturing the cameraman of a private TV channel. The case has been registered under sections 506(2) and 355 of the Pakistan Penal Code on the complaint of cameraman Wajid Ali. Security guard Shakoor and two others have been nominated in the case. Wajid Ali stated that he was on duty and covering the parliament session. He said that he was making footage of Nawaz Sharif when the security guards attacked him. He said that the guards had attacked him on the order of the chief security guard. Meanwhile, a local court sent the guards who attacked the journalist to jail on 14-day judicial remand.
