LAHORE (92 News) – Maryam Nawaz, daughter of former three time premier Nawaz Sharif, on Monday said that her father has been taken for further tests and evaluation. Maryam Nawaz shared latest updates about her father’s health through her tweet. She said that doctors looked worried as Nawaz Sharif was taken for tests and thanked the people who prayed for her father. “MNS has been taken for further tests & evaluations. Just saw him off. Drs looked worried. May Allah bless him with long life & good health. Ameen. Thank you all for your prayers,” she tweeted.
Nawaz Sharif declared fit after tests conducted at PIC
The incarcerated former prime minister was declared completely fit in the tests conducted at Punjab Institute of Cardiology.  Troponin T rapid test (TROPT), blood tests, electrocardiography (ECG) and uric acid reports were clear in the tests. Sources in the hospital confirmed that Nawaz Sharif had been suffering from chronic cardiac issue since long and he had not suffered a cardiac arrest recently. They said that blood samples had been sent to Punjab Institute of Cardiology for test. Nawaz Sharif had undergone the tests at PIC after tests conducted at Jinnah Hospital showed positive. Principal Mahmood Ayaz told 92 News that Nawaz Sharif is not facing any serious issue. “There will be no need to send him abroad for treatment. However, Nawaz Sharif will have to undergo more tests,” he said. He said that they had received the results of all tests and the medical board had suggested changes in the treatment of Nawaz Sharif. Meanwhile, MaryamNawaz reached Services Hospital and brought meal for her father.
Maryam laments not being informed about medical condition of her father
Earlier, Maryam Nawaz has lamented that her family was not being kept informed about the medical condition of her father Nawaz Sharif.
In her tweet, Maryam said, “I have been told that MNS is unwell and is being taken to Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) tomorrow but myself or the family has no knowledge of it,” she wrote. Maryam also said that she had also written to the Punjab Home Department after pleading with jail authorities. Her statement comes two days after she hit out at authorities for not releasing official medical reports of the former prime minister.
