Nawaz waged struggle for restoring sanctity of vote: Marriyum

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb on Friday said that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has waged a struggle for restoring sanctity of vote. Talking to media in Islamabad on Friday, she said that prosecution witnesses produced before the accountability court in NAB references against former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family members have failed to produce any evidence. The minister said that the nation itself was witnessing as to what kind of accountability was being carried out against Sharif family. Responding to a question, she said the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) had signed charter of democracy with Benazir Bhutto for strengthening of democracy.
