RIYADH (92 News) – Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry has said that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and former president Asif Ali Zardari are presenting themselves as Nelson Mandela and Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. While during a press conference in Riyadh, the information minister criticized the opposition leaders of Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) and Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP). He said that Nawaz, Zardari considered themselves like a Mandela and Ghandi. “Both the leaders looted the national wealth and they have to return the public wealth,” he maintained. Fawad Chaudhry further termed that Maryam Nawaz and Bilawal Bhutto have initiated ‘save the father’ campaign as they face investigation under the National Accountability Bureau (NAB). “Accountability process will be continued and it cannot be stopped due to the train march,” he added. He said that the government was offering Nawaz Sharif same as the Supreme Court granted bail for treatment in Pakistan. “But the former premier did not accept the offer of the government,” he added. Discussing about current relation with Saudi Arabia, Fawad also said that Pakistan and Saudia desired to initiate joint cultural activities, for this purpose, bilateral film and drama making are being promoted. Earlier, the minister said that Maryam Nawaz’s father has laundered Rs300 billion while Bilawal’s father has looted around Rs500 billion. “The children will utilise the money to run a campaign for their fathers,” he said. The Sharifs and former president Asif Ali Zardari’s family have no political future and even their children acknowledge it, Fawad Chaudhry said during a press conference. The federal minister said that he had earlier predicted that it was the last election for the Sharifs and Zardari. “The Sharif family is worried that there is a sale going on in London and they cannot go out of the country,” said Fawad Chaudhry. He said that in the past 40 years only two families have fared well while the country kept on suffering.
