ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry on Sunday said that the political careers of former president and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif have ended. Speaking to the journalists, the minister said, “No one can stop us from entering in Sindh.” He mentioned that one is serving his jail term and other would be following him soon. He also asserted that no National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) would be given to anyone. Lambasting on Nawaz Sharif, Fawad Chaudhry said that his trial was strange as he went to London during it as well and his younger brother Shehbaz Sharif is in prison on paper but is living in his home. “Whenever Shehbaz Sharif wants to call meeting, he calls and he can also summon his NAB prosecutor and officials anytime. “We have never seen such a strange trial before,” he said. He further said that these people have made the NAB bend to their will. Fawad Chaudhry clarified that the government has not banned for foreign tours, while the joint investigation team (JIT) has recommended their names to put on ECL. “Sindh is the part of Pakistan so no one can stop us to enter in the province. Saeed Ghani gave this statement as he maybe got up early in the morning.” To a question, Fawad Chaudhry said the leaders of PML-N and PPP are heading towards the end of their political careers. He said that one of the duo in jail while other will be join him soon, adding that they would spend good time in prison. The minister said that the names people are placed on the ECL not because of designations but on the basis of character, while referring to those who have been put on the no-fly list due to the ongoing investigation. Terming all the previous budgets as fake, Fawad Chaudhry said that the incumbent government will present new budget for keeping stable foundation of Pakistan. Earlier today, Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhary will visit Karachi on January 15 and 16 for political negotiations. Prime Minister Imran Khan will also visit Sindh for one-day official visit on January 25.
