Nazish Jahangir’s interim bail cancelled in fraud case
LAHORE (92 News) A court in Lahore Friday disposed of the interim bail granted to actress Nazish Jahangir in a fraud case.
Additional Sessions Judge Shahid Mehmood cancelled the bail to actress Nazish Jahangir for not pursuing the case properly and showing lack of interest.
It is worth mentioning here that another actor, Azan Aswad Haroon, filed a fraud case against Nazish Jahangir at the Defence C police station in Lahore.
Abdul Manan, the lawyer for Nazish Jahangir, said that the actress had been declared clean by the police during the investigation of the case.
He added that the actress had not been proved to be directly or indirectly related to the case in the police investigation.
He also claimed that no evidence had been found against the actress during the police investigation.
According to the text of the FIR registered against actress Nazish Jahangir, she took Rs2.5 million and a car for two months from the complainant, but she returned neither the car nor the money.
However, the court extended the interim bail of co-accused Sikandar till the first week of October.
