NCOC orders to immediately close cinemas, theaters and shrines

 A review meeting of the NCOC, chaired by federal minister Asad Umar, discussed spike in novel coronavirus positive cases.

The NCOC meeting discussed and recommended ban public gathering of more than 500 persons in the country. It was also ordered to close restaurant till 10am but takeaway will be allowed after given time.

Asad Umar also remarked that immediate measures are required to save lives. COVID-19 cases have increased by almost three times. The NCOC session also recommended for early winter vacations in schools to halt rapid spread of the coronavirus.

The federal and provincial officials briefed the meeting that the rate of positive cases continuously rising in the educational institutions. The session decided that the education minister will chair high level meeting on November 16, which will review and take decisions over the situation of the disease in academic institutions.
