NDMA issues sudden flood alert for Gilgit Baltistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has issued sudden flood alert for Gilgit Baltistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The authorities have been directed to aware the local population and tourists about the situation.
The NDMA has directed the GBDMA and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa PDMA to be ready to deal with any emergency situation. It also ordered the authorities concerned to ensure availability of emergency staff and machinery.
According to the Met Office, temperature is likely to increase by 5-7 degree Celsius across the country.
