NDS, RAW indirectly supporting Tehreek-e-Ahrar, says Sartaj Aziz

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Adviser to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz has on Friday said that the Tehreek-e-Ahrar which launched suicide attack in Quetta on Monday was indirectly supported by the Afghan spy agency National Directorate of Security (NDS) and Indian intelligence agency Research and Analysis Wings (RAW). Addressing news briefing in Islamabad on Friday, he said that a dossier is being prepared on the basis of the revelations of arrested Indian spy Kulbhushan Yadev, adding that the arrested RAW agent is being investigated as he was not alone and was working through an elaborate network. The adviser said that the investigation into the Quetta blast in underway and there are indications of a splinter group of Tehreek-e-Taliban Afghanistan’s involvement in Quetta attack. Aziz said that Pakistan has decided to propose to India exclusive dialogue on Kashmir, adding that Pakistan’s Foreign Secretary would be writing a letter to his Indian counterpart in this regard. He said that The Advisor said there is positive progress on the issue of Pakistan's membership for Nuclear Suppliers' Group. The adviser emphasized the need for practical implementation of understanding between Pakistan and Afghanistan for closer coordination between ISI and NDS.
