MUZAFFARABAD (92 News) – The road link of the Neelum Valley was disconnected due to landslide at Kamsar on Thursday.

As a result, thousands of vehicles and loaded trucks were stuck on the roads.

The reason behind the landslide is stated to be explosive blast for crushing. According to the police, the crushing plant was also destroyed due to the blast.

The Highways Department has shifted heavy machinery to the site to remove the debris.

The environmentalists had strictly advised not to crush stones in the area, but the proposal could not be implemented. There are over 30 crushing stone plants in the areas, which are turning the valley into a 'death well'.
