Those negating JIT are doing contempt of court: Marriyum Aurangzeb

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has on Friday said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has set a precedent by presenting himself and his three generations for accountability before the Supreme Court.

Talking to media in Islamabad on Friday, she said that the Prime Minister underwent accountability for the welfare of the people of the country, adding that the Supreme Court has rejected the pray of the petitioners.

The minister said that the Nawaz Sharif will also answer all the questions of Joint Investigation Team.

Marriyum Aurangzeb said that those negating Joint Investigation Team (JIT) are doing contempt of court.

She said that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is the modern shape of the premier’s vision.

Targeting the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), the minister said: “PTI wanted to spread chaos and unrest.”
