ISLAMABAD (92 News) – President Dr Arif Alvi has declared that neither the government will resign nor the assemblies will be dissolved.

Talking to senior journalists and anchorpersons on Monday, he said that the opposition's demand for the government's resignation was unjustified.

"Efforts are being made to destabilize the political system for the last two years," he added.

The President stressed the need for dialogues on electoral reforms. "Prime Minister Imran Khan will decide when and with whom the dialogues will be held," he added.

He said that the only objective of the PTI government is corruption-free Pakistan.

Dr Arif Alvi said that he was in contact with Prime Minister Imran Khan and discussed matters on daily basis. He stressed the need for increasing the capability of the NAB. "The objective is used after knowing money trail from the accused in the while collar crime," he added.

He said that a comprehensive strategy was being made to get the data of special persons. "India is openly against China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and conspiracies are being hatched against it," he said.
