LAHORE (92 News) – Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed has said that neither the Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) nor the Chaudhry brothers going somewhere else. Addressing a press conference on Saturday, he claimed that Nawaz Sharif would not return while Maryam Nawaz would not go anywhere. “Our opposition is not against the PML-N and the PPP, but inflation,” he said. Sheikh Rasheed said that he had asked not export flour. “We are going to penalize the people responsible for the Tezgam tragedy. Struggle for independence will continue in Occupied Kashmir,” he said. He said that Prime Minister Imran Khan listens to him. “I have asked Abdul Hafeez Sheikh to take up the matter of the railway pension,” he added. The minister said that the report presented in court is not related to them. “We are following the court orders with regard to the railway circular. As per the SC orders, we will have to restore the KCR,” he added. Earlier, Sheikh Rasheed said that the nation is paying the price for the International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) aid of US$6 billion. He said that there is inflation, but the government could not deal with the flour crisis. “A price control committee comprising of real people should be formed,” he said. The minister said that Prime Minister Imran Khan and Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar are standing shoulder-to-shoulder with each other. “2020 is the year of progress, not election,” he declared. He said that no obstacle will be tolerated in the way of implementation of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project. He reaffirmed the determination to the upgradation of railways infrastructure of ML-1 from Karachi to Peshawar. “My vision is to extend the ML-1 project by 154 kilometer from Peshawar to Jalalabad. The project will help provide 100,000 jobs to the youth,” he said. The freight train will be run from Mughalpura Dry Port to Karachi. It will help the traders transport goods from Lahore to Karachi. Moreover, the train will earn a huge profit for the railway.
