LONDON (92 News) – Nelson and Nescol, the offshore companies appeared in the Panama Leaks, had purchased the Mayfair flats being used by the Sharif family in the 90s and there has been no change in their ownership since then. According to the official documents received by BBC Urdu, the four flats have been in the name of Nelson and Nescol since 1990s and Hussain Nawaz, son of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, has admitted the ownership of these two companies. The documents show that another flat 12 A located in the same block of Mayfair Apartments is the property of British Company Flagship Investment Limited and Hassan Nawaz, son of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, is its director. Flagship Investment had purchased the flat No 12 A on January 29, 2004. According to the documents of an official agency maintaining the record of business companies in Britain, Hassan Nawaz opened Flagship Investment Limited in 2001 and the mentioned address on it is that of Park Lane flat. In addition, Hassan Nawaz is the director of four more companies – Quint Paddington Limited, Quint Gloucester Palace limited, Flagship Securities Limited and Que Holdings Limited. All these companies have the address of the Aven Field House. According to the documents, Nescol Limited had purchased the first flat located at 17 Aven Field House on June 1, 1993. Nelson Enterprises Limited had purchased the second flat No 16 located in the same building of Aven Field House on July 31, 1995. The third flat No 16 A was also purchased by Nelson Enterprises Limited the same day. The fourth flat No 17 A was purchased by Nescol Limited on July 23, 1996. The BBC contacted Hassan and Hussain Nawaz, sons of PM Nawaz Sharif, in writing and tried to get their version about the ownership and date of purchase of these flats, but did not get an answer even after two weeks. During his exile, Nawaz Sharif had given the final shape to the Charter of Democracy with PPP former chairman Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto in these flats.
