KARACHI (92 News) – The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has approved an increase in tariff of K-Electric by Rs1.07 per unit.

In the bills of January, K-Electric consumers will have to bear an extra burden of Rs1.91 billion.

The increase has been approved on the basis of the fuel price adjustment for the month of October. The NEPRA decision will not be applicable on the lifeline consumers.
