NEPRA approves Rs1.25 per unit increase in power rate

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) approved the Rs1.25 per unit increase in the power rate.

The increase has been approved in the tariff from July to September under the quarterly adjustment. The consumers will have to bear an extra burden of Rs22.56 billion under the quarterly adjustment.

The increase will be applicable to all consumers. However, the final decision will be released later on.
