NEPRA holds DISCOs responsible for over and wrong billing

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The National Electric Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has held the distribution companies (DISCOs) responsible for over and wrong billing across the country.

In the light of the investigations of the inquiry committee, the NEPRA has decided to take legal action against the DISCOs and K-Electric.

According to the report, millions of wrong and exorbitant bills were sent to the consumers.

Moreover, millions of consumers were affected due to billing of over 30 days. It stated that the distribution companies are deliberately committing dishonesty to conceal its incompetence.
