NEPRA increases power tariff by Rs4.34 per unit under monthly FCA

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The National Electronic Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has increased the power tariff by Rs4.34 under the monthly fuel charges adjustment.

The increase will burden the people with an extra amount of Rs59 billion.

The Central Power Purchasing Agency (CPPA) had requested to increase the power rate by Rs4.69 per unit. The CPPA held hearing on the FCA on August 31, 2022.

The extra payments will be received in the bill of September. The decision will be applicable to all consumers except the K-Electric Vehicle Charging stations.
