NEPRA increases power tariff by Rs4.56 per unit

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) increased the power tariff by Rs4.56 per unit.

According to the notification issued by the NEPRA on Saturday, the consumers will have to face the extra burden of Rs39.80 billion due to the increase.

The increase under the head of the fuel adjustment price will be received in the bills of February. However, the increase will not be applicable to the consumers of K-Electric and lifeline.
