NEPRA raises power rate by Rs1.24 per unit
ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) on Monday increased the power rate by Rs1.24 per unit.
The increase will burden the consumers with Rs46.76 billion. It will be applicable to the bills of July, August and September. However, the NEPRA has exempted the K-Electric and Lifeline consumers.
The distributing companies (DISCOS) had filed an application for quarterly adjustment. A notification in this regard has been issued.
