NEPRA raises power tariff by Rs1.61 per unit

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) on Tuesday increased the power tariff by Rs1.61 per unit.

A notification has been issued in this regard. The increase has been made for the month of April.

On the other hand, unannounced power shutdown has increased to eight hours in different areas of the country.

The shortfall has exceeded 5,000 megawatts after the increase in demand.
