NEPRA slashes power tariff by Rs2.21 per unit

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has on Thursday approved to cut electricity tariff by Rs2.21 per unit. According to a notification issued by the NEPRA, the regulator decided to reduce the tariff by Rs2.21 per unit. The decision will provide a collective relief to consumers. The reduction in power tariff will not apply to K –Electric consumers, agriculture and lifeline consumers.
