RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rashid has said that he had never thought that media would make him a hero in one day. “Never thought media would make me a ‘hero’ in one day. People gave me titles of ‘James Bond’ and ‘Lion’ because of media,” Sh Rashid said. “On social media, I got 40 lac more followers in one day,” he further said. “I managed to reach between the people and media despite a blockage of 200 containers. If Imran Khan would have come to Rawalpindi yesterday, it would have been a different thing,” he added. No matter how many blockades they create, I will give a bigger surprise on Nov, the AML chief said. Sh Rashid became the top trend on Twitter after he came running between the people and sat on top of a media van on Friday. The police had started a crackdown on PTI and AML workers in twin cities on Thursday to stop them from protesting.
