New chief minister of Gilgit-Baltistan to take oath today

GILGIT (92 News) - The oath taking ceremony of new Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Minister will be held at Governor House in Gilgit on Friday (today) evening. As per the rules, Governor Mohammad Barjees Tahir will administer the oath. Earlier this week, Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz, winner of majority seats in the GB elections, nominated Hafiz Hafeez ur Rehman as the nominee for the post of Chief Minister. The PML-N emerged as the single largest party after winning 14 Gilgit-Baltistan Legislative Assembly seats out of 24 in the elections held on June 8.
