New land laws betray India’s deep conspiracy against Kashmiris

ISLAMABAD (KMS) – Muslim majority status of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir is under serious threat under Modi-led Indian fascist government.

According to a report released by Kashmir Media Service, the approval of new land laws by the occupation regime allowing the use of territory’s agricultural land for non-agricultural purposes is a part of New Delhi’s anti-Kashmir policy, aimed at changing the IIOJK’s demography, once and for all. Besides, the move is seen as a step towards eradicating the economy of the Kashmiri people.

The report said India is systematically paving the way for settler colonialism to deepen enslavement of Kashmiris. New Delhi is granting domiciles to non-Kashmiris to covert IIOJK’s Muslim majority into a minority by changing its demography on the pattern of what Israel did in Palestine.

India is re-arranging constituencies in IIOJK to give more seats to Hindu majority Jammu in order to install a Hindu chief minister, one of the main motives behind 5 Aug 2019 move.

The ultimate goal of the entire exercise is to affect results of any future plebiscite, the report added. However, altering Jammu and Kashmir’s demography is in violation of UN resolutions and international laws, the report said and stressed the need for intervention by the United Nations to stop fascist Modi from changing IIOJK’s demography.
