New rain spell hits parts of country

LAHORE/FAISALABAD (92 News) – More rain with snowfall over hills occurred at different areas of the country on Thursday. The light rain with cool winds at different areas of the country and snowfall over the hills made the weather pleasant and allowed the citizens, already worried about the coming hot summers, to relax a bit. On the other hand, cloudy weather is expected in upper parts of the country. However, rain-thunderstorm (with light snowfall over the hills) associated with gusty winds is expected at scattered places in Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, upper Punjab (Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Gujranwala, Lahore, Faisalabad, Sahiwal divisions), while at isolated places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and FATA. A few hailstorms may occur during the next 12 hours.
