New rain system turns weather pleasant across country

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The new rain system entering Balochistan from Iran turned the weather pleasant across the country. Several cities in Punjab, including Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Sahiwal, Multan, DG Khan, Bahawalpur divisions, received incessant rain coupled with gale. Different areas of Sindh (Sukkur, Larkana, Shaheed Benazirabad, Karachi divisions) and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat, Mardan, Bannu, DI Khan) divisions also received rain. Moreover, Balochistan areas, including Quetta, Zhob, Kalat, Makran, Sibbi and Naseerabad divisions, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir also received the rain. According to the Met Office, a westerly wave is affecting most parts of the country and likely to affect different parts of the country during next two to three days.
