Newly elected KP CM Mehmood Khan takes oath of his office

PESHAWAR (92 News) – The newly elected chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mehmood Khan took oath of his office in Peshawar. Governor Iqbal Zafar Jhagra administered the oath. Mehmood Khan was elected as a member of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly from Matta area of Swat on PTI ticket during the recent general elections. He was elected as the Leader of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly in Peshawar yesterday. Mehmood Khan secured seventy-seven votes while his rival Mian Nisar Gul of MMA got thirty-three votes. The PTI formed his government second time in the KP. The party made a history after electing his KP chief minister again at second time. Addressing to the session, newly-elected chief minister said that the government will run the government affairs with the opposition consultations.
