Nimarta’s mysterious death: Classmate confesses to 4-year friendship with her

LARKANA (92 News) – An important progress was made in the case of mysterious death of Nimarta Kumari, a dental college student, with a classmate recording his statement. In his statement, Mehran Abro said that he had formed friendship with her four years back. “Nimarta wanted to tie the knot with me, but I had refused. Nimarta had also consulted a professor as well in this regard,” he said. He said that he was informed about her death through his friends. On the other hand, protests were staged against the death of Nimarta in several cities of Sindh. Students took out rallies in Larkana, Hyderabad, Jamshoro and Thatha. In Ghotki, Hindus, traders, citizens and political and social figures took out a rally. A demonstration was also staged outside Ranipur Press Club.
