Nine children die in Sukkur wall collapse

SUKKUR (92 News) – Nine children were killed when the dilapidated wall of a house collapsed in Ghulam Rasool Shambani RD-159, Salehputt area on Thursday. The deceased, including four girls and two boys, were playing near the wall when it collapsed. Eleven children were buried under the debris. They were identified as Rukhsana, Yaqoob, Guddu, Akbar, Manzooran, Sattaran, Zulfat and Rukhsana. Dilshad Sakhi Dano and Razia were injured. Nine children died on the spot, while two were shifted to hospital. All the children were between two and 12 years. The deceased were buried in Shadi Shahdeeq area, Khairpur. Moving scenes were witnessed during the burial.
