Nine kids die of malnutrition in Mithi Civil Hospital

MITHI (92 News) – As many as nine children died of malnutrition in Mithi Civil Hospital during the last 24 hours on Saturday. The children were brought to hospital from remote areas. No government officer reacted to the horrible news. The deceased include four-month-old Sapna, three-month-old Samad Ali, three-year-old Hakim, nine-month-old Shahidan, five-year-old Rahdan, three-year-old Javed and three newborns. Several children are being treated in several other hospitals. The Sindh government makes tall claims of providing healthcare facilities, but the reality befools the claims. When contacted, Civil Hospital Mithi MS Iqbal Bhargari refused to comment on the issue.
