SANGHAR (92 News) – Nine people have been killed and 24 others wounded in a collision between a rickshaw and a bus in Shahpur Chaakar area of Sanghar, police and witnessed said. Among the dead are five women, three children and the rickshaw driver, police added. Rescues and witnesses shifted the injured to Nawab Shah hospital. According to Channel 92 correspondent, among the 24 injured are six members of a family. The bus turned side down after hitting the rickshaw. Rescue operation is continuing as some passengers are feared trapped beneath the bus. A large number of locals gathered on the road and assisted the rescuers in retrieving bodies and injured from the wreckage of rickshaw and bus.
