Nine killed in road mishaps across the country

PINDI BHATTIAN (92 News) – At least nine people were killed and several others injured during separate incidents of road mishaps across the country on Monday. In Pindi Bhattian, an over-speeding car collided with a passenger van on Motorway Inter-change, killing at least five people and injuring five others. The vehicles were heading towards Islamabad from Lahore. The bodies and injured people were rushed to Allied Hospital in Faisalabad for medical assistance where the condition of two patients is said to be critical. In another incident, a truck heading towards Afghanistan turned turtle near Torkham, however, the injured people were rushed to nearby hospital, while a man lost his life when a car hit a man in on Karachi’s Hubb road. Meanwhile, a man lost his life during a head-on collision between a motorcycle and a passenger bus.
