Nine members of a family test positive for Indian Delta variant in Karachi

KARACHI (92 News) – Nine members of a family tested positive for the Indian Delta variant on Monday.

All patients have been shifted to Lyari General Hospital.

Prof Anjum Rehman, Corona Ward in-charge, said that the patients belonging to Lyari include a man, his wife and children.

He said that the affected persons are being provided all medical facilities. He said that all 42 ventilators are occupied. He asked the people to be cautious as 100 beds, out of total 130, have been occupied at Karachi DHQ Hospital.
