Nine model agriculture centres will be established in Punjab: Caretaker CM

LAHORE (92 News) - Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi has said that nine model agriculture centres will be established across the province.

During a meeting on Tuesday, the chief minister sought the final plan in this regard.

He said that farmers will be provided all facilities under one roof in the model agriculture centres at the divisional level.

"Farmers will be provided seeds, fertilizers, pesticide and agriculture machinery and equipment. Moreover, farmers will be provided the facility of marketing and storage of fruit and vegetables," he added.

The chief minister said that the model agriculture centres will be established in districts after the divisional level.

During the meeting, he was briefed about the establishment of a model agriculture centre in a village in Okara.
