Nine more people die due to COVID-19 across the country

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Nine people have died of the COVID-19 and 872 people have been diagnosed with the virus during last 24 hours.

According to the National Institutes of Health, 23,125 tests were carried out in the country and the condition of 165 patients is stated to be critical. The rate of positive cases of corona in Karachi was 6.49% and in Muzaffarabad it was 6.25%, in Lahore it was 5.59percent, 5.19% in Swat.

The Health Minister said that in view of the global pandemic situation, the Central Health Establishment should stringently monitor the health status of incoming passengers at points of entry. He emphasized the importance of precautions including social distancing and mask-wearing, especially in crowded places.
