Nine of a Pakistani family perish in Kuwait fire

KUWAIT (92 News) – Nine members of a Pakistani family were killed in a fire at an old building used to house expatriates in Farwaniya. The family belongs to Mian Channu. The deceased include Asif, his wife, two sons, two daughters, mother, sister-in-law and nephew. The cause of the fire is said to be short-circuiting. As many as 25 people, including 25 rescuers, were also injured in the fire. The condition of five injured is said to be critical.
