Nine people lost their lives due to Covid-19 during last 24 hours

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – As many as nine people died due to Covid-19 while 637 new cases were reported during the last 24 hours across the country.

According to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), 48,882 tests were conducted while the positivity ratio remained at 1.30 percent. The death toll due to pandemic in the country has reached 28,575. The number of positive cases has surged to 1,278,751.

Till now 13,738 active cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Sindh, 7,666 in Punjab, 1,369 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 323 in Islamabad, 113 in Balochistan, 44 in Azad Kashmir and 17 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Furthermore, 472,925 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 441,493 in Punjab, 178,846 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 107,223 in Islamabad, 33,368 in Balochistan, 34,498 in Azad Kashmir and 10,398 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
