Sindh CM orders to seal hospital

Hospital management resists closure of Darul Sehat
Hospital management had resisted the government officials and called the women for their support. This all happened when the government officials had arrived to seal OPD facility of the hospital. It created tension between the opponent parties on this occasion. However, upon realising that they were being given extra coverage by the media, the women (about 40-50) left in rickshaws. Citizens raised slogans against the hospital demanding its closure. On April 14, the nine-month-old girl had paralysed allegedly after being administered ‘wrong injection’ by ‘untrained nursing staff’ at Darul Sehat Hospital situated in Karachi’s Gulistan-e-Jauhar area.
